Rev.  Andrew Alberts - Pastor

Pastor Andy Alberts has been richly blessed with his wife Annie and their three children, Isaac, Madeline and Emma.  Pastor Andy hails from the state of Nebraska (GO BIG RED!) and graduated Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD in 1997.  He graduated from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, MO in 2002 and received a Master of Science in Family Life Ministry from Concordia University in Seward, NE in 2010.  Pastor Andy served Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Columbus, Nebraska as the associate pastor of Youth and Family Ministry.  Pastor Andy was installed as pastor at Trinity on February 4, 2007.   He loves the warmth of his congregation but is not a big fan of the Wisconsin cold!  His passion is to help individuals and families live out their faith and share Jesus with others.  Pastor Andy enjoys golfing, Frisbee, strumming his guitar and being with his family.

 Mr. Dean Frick - Principal        
Gr. 7 & 8

Mr. Frick is married to Mrs. Frick (Deb),Trinity's Preschool/ Kindergarten teacher.  They have two children, Emily and Andrew.  Mr. Frick enjoys having the whole family at school.

Mr. Frick graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN in 1991, and has been teaching the past 20 years.  This will be his 8th year as Principal/7th & 8th grade teacher at Trinity.

The outdoors is where Mr. Frick find peace and enjoyment - some of his favorite activities include hunting, fishing and golfing. 

 Mrs. Tori Schwanz - Gr. 5 & 6

Mrs. Schwanz and her husband Nathan Schwanz live on the West side of Wausau.  Mrs. Schwanz graduated from Concordia University in Mequon, in May 2010.  This is Mrs. Schwanz first year as a teacher. 

Mrs. Schwanz enjoys spending time with her husband outdoors doing activities such as hiking, biking, rollerblading, and just going to the park.  Mrs. Schwanz also enjoys reading, cooking, and doing puzzles.

 Mrs. Becky Van Rixel - Gr. 1 & 2

Mrs. Van Rixel is married to Mark, and they have three children - Joshua, Abby, and Elizabeth.

Mrs. Van Rixel  currently teaches 1st & 2nd grade.

Family time is very special to the Van Rixel family.  Some of their most treasured times are spent at the cottage where they go swimming, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and playing games.

Mrs. Rachel Gilles - Gr. 3 & 4

Mrs. Gilles and her husband Rob live in the Village of Athens.  Rachel graduated from Concordia University, Mequon, in 1994 and has taught at Trinity for 13 years.  The past three summers Rachel has taught summer school in Westfield.

Rachel enjoys walking, golf, volleyball, cooking, and spending time wtih her 11 nieces and nephews.

 Mrs. Deb Frick - PK/K
& Child Care Director 

Mrs. Frick has been teaching for over twenty years, most of which have been at the Kindergarten/Preschool level.  Deb is graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. She grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and still loves to visit the mountains each summer.

 Mrs. Judy Weise - Administrative Assistant

Judy and her husband Kevin have been married since July of 1980 and have three children; Megan (David) Radowski, Samantha (Chris) Kruger, and Matthew.  They also share their home with one dog and three cats. 

Judy was Administrative Assistant at Trinity from 1995 - 2005, and was blessed with the opportunity to return in September of 2008.  She is also leader for the Crusaders For Christ Youth Group.  

Walking is one of Judy's favorite hobbies, along with spending time with her family, whether it be watching Matt play sports, or catching up with Megan and Sami.  Judy enjoys her time volunteering with the Athens Area Ambulance Service.     

 Mrs. Donna Albrecht - Custodian

Donna has been married to Tom, Sr. for 42 years!  They have four children, Tom Jr. (Tracy L.) Albrecht, Julie (Dave) Rock, Scott (Tracy M.) Albrecht, and Vicki (Adam) Halopka; and have been blessed with eight grandchildren - Dan Finke, Brett, Kevin, Jonathan, & Vaughn Albrecht, and Ty, Mason, & Tori Halopka.

Since April of 1998 Donna has been Trinity's custodian and keeping our building sparkling clean!

Donna enjoys working outside in the flower bed or vegetable gardens.  She also enjoys learnign how to knit, spending time with her eight grandchildren, family & friends.  Donna also enjoys working at the Athens High School & Elementary School in the Food Service Departments.

 Mrs. Laurie Brodziski - Cook

Laurie and her husband Daryl live near Athens in the country.  They receive their most joy from sharing their home with their Siberian Huskies and one kitty.

Laurie has been a cook at Trinity Lutheran School the past nine years.  Her favorite thing to make for the children are cookies!  Laurie also works at the Heartland Co-op Convenience Store. 

She enjoys feeding and watching the birds, walking with one of their dogs, or just being home, spending time with Daryl.
